Morocco holidays-Figures released in new trends report
Figures released from and First Choice’s findings in their new Trends Report 2008-09 show that more than one-fifth of holidays taken this year were outside Europe indicate that the established destinations such as Spain and Portugal just aren’t far or exotic enough for the popular tourist.
More and more people are immersing themselves in Islamic culture, sampling spicy cuisine or even trekking across the desert doesn’t require crossing the world in order to do so.
Exotic experiences are to be had very close by and an hour or two longer than it takes you to reach the land of tapas or Europe’s golfing Mecca. This is contributing to the year on year.
